Merry Christmas

The celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ is rapidy approaching.  Please keep the real reason for celebration at the forefront of your holiday season, his birth, death, and rising from the dead to set at the right hand of God the Father gives hope of eternal salvation.  When he comes again, it will not be as a child but as the King of Kings!

Wildhorse Ministries and old fashioned ham and bean dinner

October 5 will be a special day at the campground.  Wildhorse Ministries will make their 4th visit, as they show how training a horse is like our relationship with Christ.  We will be serving old fashioned ham and beans, fried potatoes, cornbread and dessert for a donation.  Serving will be 4-8 pm with the horse demonstration beginning at 5.  Come join us, this year the horse will be a Clydesdale, normally thought of as a draft horse, but also used for riding.

Thanks

We would like to take a moment to thank everyone who took time to help with the 4th of July stand at Forest Park, those that set up and took down the stand, those that cooked noodles, those that cleaned up the dining hall kitchen, those that helped serve at the park and each and everyone who stopped by to eat.  It was really hot Tuesday, looked like rain on Wednesday, and everyone is busy on the fourth, but you made the campground part of your holiday! Thanks again and God Bless you!
