Spring is coming

As spring approaches, we will be starting to clean up the campground and buildings getting ready for the summer camp season. If you would like to help out, contact the caretaker for arrangements. We can always use volunteers to help get things spruced up.

Workday

Thanks to everyone who helped in the kitchen last Saturday. Drywall was hung on the bulkhead around the new kitchen range hood, the electrical wire was being ran to the hood, and the metal installed on the wall behind the range was finished up. Thanks for all the help, God Bless each of you.

Summer of 2012

There are still some open weeks if someone is interested in having a youth camp or adult retreat. Contact the caretaker for information or download the application. Check the on-line calendar to check for open dates

Saturday workday

We had a very productive workday in the dining hall last Saturday. The permanent exhaust vents and drains were installed on the dining hall furnaces. In the kitchen some trim work was completed around the window and the bulkhead framing completed above the new exhaust hood. Once the electrial power is installed to the hood, we will be ready for drywall. Thanks to all that helped, God Bless each of you.

Summer of 2012

We already have several camps scheduled for the summer of 2012. If you are interested in using the camp for a camp this summer, you can check the on line calendar to see what weeks are already unavailable. Contact the caretaker as soon as possible to schedule a time period. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Hood being installed

The installation of the hood in the kitchen began yesterday. The hood was installed and the duct was put in through the roof. Today they plan to get the fire surpression system in and finish up. Thanks to everyone who made this possible. God Bless each of you.

Dining Hall Kitchen

Great News! The much needed new exhaust hood in the dining room kitchen is scheduled to be installed the first week of 2012. Thanks to all that help on this projected to make it happen and thanks to our Lord for providing our needs.
