Happy 4th of July, take time to give thanks for America and all the freedoms we enjoy. It's a holiday, but there is a lot of activity at the campground. Megan Palm, caretaker is mowing the grass getting ready for a camp that begins tomorrow, Kevin and Travis Lawson are working on the plumbing in the new shower house, the electrician is also working on the shower house, and of course the noodles are cooking for our last serving day at the 2018 Brazil 4th of July Festival. Come and enjoy the day with us and support your local non profit organizations!
The first night of serving our chicken and noodles at the Brazil 4th of July festival went great, getting ready for tonight. Come out and join us at Forest Park.
Quilt made from the signature blocks signed by the volunteers who helped with building the 10 cabins in the summer of 2002. With people from all over the US through the Men and Women of Action, a mission outreach of the Church of God of Cleveland TN, the cabins were built over a two week period of time. The quilt now hangs in a place of honor in the dining hall!
We are accepting camp dates for 2019, if you would like to schedule, fill out the application and return with the deposit to hold your date. Please confirm open dates with the caretaker by phone or email.
