BRADY SHOEMAKER BASEBALL CAMP

THE BRADY SHOEMAKER BASEBALL CAMP

Attention kids!  Warm up those pitching and batting arms!  They need to be in shape for the inaugural Brady Shoemaker Baseball Camp.  The date has been set.  You have until August 17, 2013 to get into shape!

Excitement begins at 9:00 AM and will continue to 1:00 PM.  It is for children ages seven through fourteen and is free to participants.  There will be workshops in batting, fielding, throwing and baserunning along with competitions and prizes to be awarded.

Local baseball favorite Brady Shoemaker will be headlining the event and is busy now finetuning the plans.  Brady is a Northview High School and Indiana State University graduate who played baseball for the Knights and Sycamores.  Drafted by the Chicago White Sox in 2009, Brady currently plays for the Birmingham Barons, the White Sox Double-A affiliate in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Feeling blessed by all God has given him, Brady Shoemaker is passionate about giving back and making a difference in the lives of others.  Sharing his talent with children is one way he can accomplish that goal.
Local high school athletes will be there to assist and sharing their talents as well.

And, of course, with all that energy being expended, refueling is necessary!  Lunch and beverages will be provided.  Local pastor Jeff Bridgewater will be there to deliver the blessing and a short faith message.

If you can't tell by now, we are soooooo excited about the Brady Shoemaker Baseball Camp!  This event, the first of its kind to be presented by the Friendly Benwood Community Christian Youth Campground, is designed to create an awareness in the eyes of the public of the campground and all it has to offer.  FBC is dedicated to the furtherance of God's Word and providing a place for people of all ages to learn and worship.
